Dear poet,

Thank you for considering West Trestle Review as a home for your work.

We are open to work from around the globe, as long as it's written in English by a woman or non-binary writer. Please send at least two, but no more than five of your best poems attached here in a single document, in black Times New Roman, 12 pt. font. We prefer not to make edits to accepted pieces, but please wait until your work has been accepted before making / requesting edits.

If you need to withdraw a piece, please message us via Submittable. Please note that the "note" is private to the submitter, and we're not able to view messages there.

We ask that contributors wait one year after their piece was published before submitting again. We do accept simultaneous submissions, but please let us know immediately through Submittable's messaging system if your work is accepted by another publication. We hope to one day be able to pay our contributors, but that time has not yet arrived. We do nominate our contributors for Best of the Net, Best New Poets, and Pushcart. We also promote our contributors' work via social media.

Originality and Ownership Clause: All contributors will be asked to affirm that the work is her / their own creative effort, unadulterated by machine-generated visual or literary art.

Finally, by submitting your work here, you agree to be added to our email list. Our newsletters are short and occasional.
